Most workshops and teachers only mention mugi, kokuso and sabi. In fact, there is much more to using urushi in kintsugi repair. Choosing the right type of urushi, adjusting the ingredient and proportion is key to good durable pottery repair. We couldn't stress enough on gaining good knowledge on your tools and material in kintsugi craft. Build a strong foundation and all the philosophy can come later.
