Dress up your beautiful bento box with a bit of color and pattern!

SANADA - this is inspired by the classic color and pattern of traditional "Sanada-himo".  Himo are intricate yet heavy-duty cotton cords developed in the 15th century, which warriors used them to tie their swords, helmets and armory.  It is also common in tying wood boxes for tea ceremony wares and cha-wan cups.

WEINERS - You may be thinking "What ... is this?".  In Japan, tiny weiners are common light snacks for bento box and even izakaya pubs.  One end would be cut up and then pan-fried to make them look like little octopuses.   YES, parents love making them and kids love eating them, still.  Check them out on YouTube

DAURMA- the most iconic image in Japan.  Daruma dolls represents luck, fortune and perseverence.

ONIGIRI Rice Balls (RED or BLACK) - one of the most classic food eaten in Japan is the triangle-shape rice balls with the seaweed wrap on the outside.  The perfect food for bento box!!  Choose RED or BLACK.
